Adalyns riding lesson

Adalyn is taking riding lessons.  Girl loves horses.  I remember at one time she would not get even close to one.  Now all she talks about is horses.
Steve and I so enjoyed watching her.  She is still little and needs help with the saddle and other things that go with riding a horse like the grooming that's expected after wards.  She is too little to be expected to take care of that by herself.  A few more years for that.  Right now she is getting used to riding and loves it!

The horse she was on was a gentle one and a sweet one too.

Dearest Betsy,
It sure is fun watching them develop a love for horses!
Hope she stays with it and sticks it out, all the way as it is also hard work.
Lovely memories made again.
Hugs,
Mariette

Betsy, what a wonderful start for her. Horses are usually a big part of a little girl's life at one point or another and I'm glad she is getting to experience it..xxoJudy

Me again, Betsy. I have just finished the Forgotten Garden and I really enjoyed it. I like the way she writes. I was going to go on to the next title, but during the Great PG&E Shutdown of 2019 my battery went dead on the Kindle and I couldn't recharge it so I took one of my mother's old books out of the cupboard and it was so good that I think I will finish it first. Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. I am so far behind in my visits and I don't like to do that. My zinnias are still hanging on so I hate to take them down. The flowers and buds are looking still good but the stalks are getting really ugly..Happy Thursday..xxoJudy

Awww.... she'll get the hang of it. I started when I was 11 and it was one of the best things I ever did. Hopefully she won't give it up for boys when she's 17, like I did lol

She loves it. I hope she holds off on the boys too. She will probably find a boy who loves to ride horses like her, I hope.
