Adalyn is taking riding lessons. Girl loves horses. I remember at one time she would not get even close to one. Now all she talks about is horses.
Steve and I so enjoyed watching her. She is still little and needs help with the saddle and other things that go with riding a horse like the grooming that's expected after wards. She is too little to be expected to take care of that by herself. A few more years for that. Right now she is getting used to riding and loves it!
First we had a happy family day birthday for Adalyn who is 7 on Saturday.
Today on Sunday she had fun at Chucky cheese with a few friends starting at 9 o'clock a.m. and the snow started.
She is making a wish and thinking about it.
Oh yes and we had to sing Happy Birthday

Adalyn turned 6 on Friday. Her celebration was held today. She wanted everything emoji but at the last minute switched her cake to snowflakes. My favorite too. Fitting I see the emoji with tears. I just noticed that.
There was a graduation party at Adalyns school and I am sharing a few hi lites of the event.

Another picture taken by Genevieve - I guess this is just a little peek into what she sees in her world day to day. Not sure what type of photographer she will be but she seems to like pictures of shoes.
Getting things ready to put on the porch now. I need to get a sisal type rug for the porch. I also love the rugs that have large floral flowers that look like needlepoint. In the process selecting a fan, as the ceiling fan on porch has a broken fan blade and it's ready to be replaced. Every thing seems like it needs to be replaced all at once.
A friend of mine gave me a vintage table that I am painting white, it's a shiny white, but it's what I have and I am not going out to spend anymore than I have too. I may do some work with some lace on top for a touch of whimsy. Not sure yet as to what, maybe some lace decal.

Adalyn on a visit with us to Opas office at Christmas time after seeing the pretty Christmas lights downtown.
She enjoyed sitting at the desk in an Itech hat with a football. We had to tell her it was time to go home in order for her to remove herself from the chair. She seems to really enjoy an office invironment.

Grand daughter Adalyn had a birthday on Saturday. She loves Elsa of Disney's "Frozen" . I guess I have that correct, I can't keep up with what the little ones follow these days.
The little snowflakes are rings and there is an ornament that moves around of "Elsa" Adalyns favorite.
