It's not all that cold outside, but the plants know when it's time to rest,  good weather or not.   What's left of the flowers are fading fast so I try to pick and bring in as many as I can to enjoy.
I have this bunch on my dining table.

just outside the front door are more white zinnias and a dahlia I planted from seed growing in a pot.
It's is a pretty red.

I will plant more white ones next year.  hopefully I can get the area mulched tomorrow.

the seed that grew these fell from a plant that was in the window
the mums are not blooming yet

Sunday browsing

through the garden gate antiques here locally is where we sometimes go  on a Sunday evening just to browse and then stop to get a coffee and take in the nice autumn air.
On entering is this  white pumpkin and distressed fence.

I totally love these lanterns but again , not this time as it was more than I wanted to spend today

Lots of ideas to be had here like this painted coffee pot

Nice fall wreath with owls beside it
