Sycamore Tavern

Was out riding today and stopped to take a photo of this beautiful old tree in front of Sycamore Tavern.  The forth stagecoach stop from Richmond to Charlottesville. It continued to serve as a Tavern during the nineteenth century.

I guess you can tell ,  that I am really taken by this tree.  I just think it is beautiful

The picture is a liitle fuzzy
The root system must travel all the way to Charlottesville
