Backyard

It was 101 here today but felt like 110 degrees.  What better day to get out and dig in dirt that feels like cement.  I guess I am trying to see what a stroke feels like,  just can't stand staying inside.  Here are some pictures so far of my laying some slate to sit my little table on.   The area is not pretty and I really seem to be making it worse by digging and rearranging.  Hopefully it will not look this way too long.  I found the slate in the ground mostly covered by grass and dug them up.  Will move them again in an area not directly under tree limbs.

not here, will have to move them a third time

will put them in this empty space
there is a hole in the boxwood because I was going to  place a pot of flowers in there, pot of flowers have dried up.

Its getting dark , but the pictures turned out o.k. , will fill in with sand and pebbles

a cement leaf I made from a large Begonia leaf
The columns were here when we moved here, I just stacked them and will plaster cement on them maybe

will do the same to these columns,  I may just mosaic them with pebbles

will shape this one and probably put in the ground
will be back at it tomorrow

The website is looking bit flashy and it catches the visitors eyes. Design is pretty simple and a good user friendly interface. Backyard Sumo
