I love old barns and you have captured some beauties in Highland County. The covered bridge is lovely. Our daughter lives in New England and we always make a point to visit a new/old covered bridge when we go. They are truly lovely works of useful art. Thanks for sharing your trip with us, Betsy. ♥
The white house in the first photo is adorable!! Indeed all photos shows lovely scenery. Virginia is a lovely state and must be in our list of places to see someday! Thanks for sharing!
These are marvelous photos. You don't see many covered bridges any more, and the sign at the end is beautiful. Thanks for joining us at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2018/04/titanic-movie-costumes-on-display-at.html
This kind of covered bridge I saw in Yosemite..
Loved the covered bridge, such charm. The sign certainly made me smile.
To my knowledge, we have no old covered bridges here in Arkansas, but old barns abound. However, they are fading fast, due to lack of care and once they're gone they will not be replaced by any structure nearly so romantic. Nice set of images.
Very niceand charming photos!
Bath County is a beautiful place. Interesting to see a new old-looking covered bridge.
Betsy, such pretty pictures. Love the note from Dad to Son. That was about as simple as it was, I'm sure..Happy Wednesday..xxoJudy
