Sharing with Image-in-ing this week some old barns in Highland county Virginia

We were staying in Bath County and some beauties on our way to Monterey Va..




Here is a new covered bridge built at entrance to homes in the Highlands

  1. I love old barns and you have captured some beauties in Highland County. The covered bridge is lovely. Our daughter lives in New England and we always make a point to visit a new/old covered bridge when we go. They are truly lovely works of useful art. Thanks for sharing your trip with us, Betsy. ♥

  6. To my knowledge, we have no old covered bridges here in Arkansas, but old barns abound. However, they are fading fast, due to lack of care and once they're gone they will not be replaced by any structure nearly so romantic. Nice set of images.
