She's a cutie, Betsy! :) Best wishes for her very first day of school, and I know exactly how you feel. Our son's first day of kindergarten, I had to leave the room quickly because I started to cry. I didn't see that coming at all -- thought I was ready and prepared. The years do fly by, don't they?

It really is bittersweet for you. My Grandson started yesterday and my Grandaughter today, visiting them now is a little harder, weekends only...

Oh, Betsy, you have the most darling grandbabies! Without a doubt. Hope Adalyn loves school. You are so right when you say babies don't keep (love that analogy) but I keep looking closely at my 23 year old baby and I can still see that first day of school in him also.
