Mom Birthday 93

Yesterday - November 23rd was Moms birthday,  she is 93 and is looking and doing very well.
We had b'day dinner at the Four Seasons in Powhatan Va.   on old Buckingham road in the villiage.
I wish I had taken a picture of the food as it looked so good and was so delicious!!!

The thick frosting layer in the middle is like a cream cheese cake with wonderful flavor

one whole cake cost $80.00 dollars.   I won't be taking one home ,  I would love to but too expensive for me. 
We had a wonderful time.

Mom

Saturday was Moms birthday,  she is 92 and doing well.   She enjoyed her cake along with three rounds of scrabble,  she loves scrabble and especially playing with Wanda , d i l.      She doesn't like to play unless Wanda plays, which I don't understand because Wanda always wins. 

I am getting Thanksgiving fix ins ready to take to my son and daughter in law's home.    Mom will be with us there too.
Then back to finishing the decorations, with Thanksgiving so late this year one almost has to start to get things ready earlier.     Just doesn't seem right to run Thanksgiving and Christmas together.  I like to enjoy each one separately .

Moms b'day

Mom turned 90 on November 23.    Here are a couple photos.

Elijah , moms great great grandson.
Oh yeah ,  now we have his attention.   He sniffed out the truffles, looks serious too.

Wyatt - gr gr grandson, making sure no one takes moms stuff.  He was glued and wanted to see everything.

Miranda does not have much longer til lil Addy makes her debut,  I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS   First grand daughter - she will be somewhat spoiled I think

My nephew Alex and a friend they both will be graduating in June.  

Now I am off to do more decorating so I can post to my Christmas blog
