January 3, Steve and I walked the beach in Colonial Beach looking for drift wood and some times I find little shards of sea glass and pretty rocks.
It was calm, no wind and sun hitting us as we walked, felt good.

Beautiful pier, Is that sea glass or rocks?
Lovely beach photos.

Hello, lovely images from Virginia Beach! Have a happy week!
Such beautiful scenes. The water is so calming.
I'm an avid rock collector at the beach and along streams and lakes. I have a nice collection in my windowsills. - Margy
Such lovely photos Betsy. I love to visit the beach when I am down that way. Happy New Year!
I would like to find some sea glass too! Your images are gorgeous. I have to check more of the East Coast beaches.
Hi Betsy!
Sorry it has taken me so long to visit your blog after your nice comment on mine. I was offline for a few weeks as I had surgery. When I lived in NYC I often thought my husband and I would retire in Virginia one day as it was a state we loved to visit. We ended up in Colorado as our children had settled here and we wanted to live close to our grandchildren. We love it here now but I do miss the seashore from time to time. I have a large bowl filled with sea glass from beachcombing days. You found a lovely memento from your walk!
oh how beautiful… love your little stone beach heart!
My daughter and her family lived in Colorado for a time and I did love visiting there, beautiful state.
How wonderful that you can visit the ocean/beach anytime you want. Just to jump in the car and arrive quickly would be so cool!
Thank you.
