Didn't do too much Halloween this year but had to do a little cause grandchildren love it.     It's a fun time I used to really look forward to as a child and they do too.

Had to take the skull in because of dampness, will put out later.

little clip of dancing devils I picked up from a shop in Maine.

Dearest Betsy,
No, I'm not a person that is fond of Halloween.
Always a crazy thing, a mix of the European Carnival and Saint Martin when kids would go on November 10, from home to home with their candlelit paper torches on a stick, for getting a mandarin, orange, apple, chocolates and/or candy.
That was fun.
But for pushing All Souls and All Saints Day completely off the table for such a pagan tradition is only another commercial invention.
Hugs,
Mariette

Happy Halloween, Betsy! It looks quite festive at your place. I hope your granddaughters have a great time! We places a big wooden bowl of candy outside for the ghosts and goblins. Our neighbors are all grown up and we usually don't get too many trick or treaters anymore.

Those dancing devils are like the little angels we had long ago.

Betsy,
We had rain and then the temps dropped down to 28 degrees and the rain turned to snow!! Just a dusting but that was the end of my flowers...The longest my annuals ever held out...i did not even have to buy mums!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! Anne Marie appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment on the post about her Halloween decorations!!

Betsy, hope the kids had fun. I love that first photo. Always love to see a night time photo with candlelight, but I don't seem to get a good one too often. We were blacked out at Halloween but from what I saw out our front window, I don't think there were too many kids out, so I felt a little better. Hate disappointing those kids..Stay well my friend..xxoJudy
