back to June

Some pretty flowers from June walk at Lewis Ginter.
I miss the Magnolia blooms.

Calla lily

those pretty Crotons on the left.  I had to purchase one at Lowes shortly afterward.

A beautiful Oak presented to us, the citizens of Richmond Virginia, named after the English town of Richmond in England.

Little closer look at the leaf on this beautiful Oak

I'm so glad you posted these lovely photos from Lewis Ginter, Betsy. They are all beautiful! I don't think I've ever noticed the oak from Richmond, England. I've never grown crotons, but I certainly love their colors. I hope yours are doing well. Have a lovely weekend.

Beautiful place!! I have never seen a magnolia flower close up. Thank you for this lovely magnolia photo. I have seen from far away when we lived in GA for a semester. Lovely video, I can hear the birds and it looks so tranquil and peaceful. Have a great weekend.

Beautiful photos, Betsy, and such gorgeous flowers and gardens. I have a couple of twigs coming up in the yard that the leaves resemble those of that oak, but our normal oak trees around here don't look like that. Probably a deposit from a visiting squirrel. I have ordered hubby not to cut them so I can use them in an arrangement in the fall..Happy July, I wish it was June again. The temps were much cooler then..xxoJudy
