Saturday Drive
Nice day to get out for a drive to the beach. Colonial Beach. I found some driftwood to add to my growing collection.
Very windy. I feel no aches or pains walking in the sand on a day like this. I love it!
Clip of the day at Colonial Beach
lunch at Wilkersons in Colonial Beach.
Shrimp, salad, flounder etc...
Whau!! Your blog looks different! Love this new look with the soft gray. I wish I was a bit more tech literate and had courage to mess around with my blog a bit. I too "economical" to pay for a spot of my own in the internet world. Love those drift wood. Do you make any crafts with them? Looove the ocean so much and miss it so much. Thank you for sharing about Colonial Beach, never been there but those waters calls a person. :)
Dearest Betsy, What a lovely drive to Colonial Beach and for walking in the sand and collecting drift wood. There is lots of it as shown in your photos. How good such a lunch must taste after being out in the fresh air for a while! Happy new week and sending you hugs, Mariette
Beautiful pictures!! It has been a long tome , over 20 years, since I have been to the beach....It is on my Bucket List one I get my knee done and retire...The food looks quite good too!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! Hugs, Deb
We love our winter beach! It’s a whole different world and feeling from the summer beach. You have quite a lot of driftwood there to choose from. We see very little driftwood on our beaches.

Oh My---I'd love that homemade Loaded Potato soup at your lunch place... But--your lunch looked good also.
After the cold, dreary weather and snow (we got none here), I'm sure it felt good to visit the beach...
Hugs,
Betsy
Colonial Beach looks so lovely.
I enjoyed seeing your photographs and the video clip.
There is something wondrous about a walk along the beach …
Enjoy the rest of your week, and a good weekend to come.
All the best Jan
Wishing I had an ocean to take a drive too....but the closest one would be almost 8 hrs away. Looks like a great day out driving and enjoying.
That must have been a really nice drive. Enjoyed your photos very much Betsy, thanks for sharing.
