Sunday visit

Beautiful breezy August 2.  Next few weeks our fence and brick wall will come down.  I have to move some flowers and roses.   We will be making way for a patio and doors from porch to access it.   We need that.   I will miss the wall and the fence.  I think it suits the surrounding and house, but we do need an exit and a place to sit grill and some garden chairs.

Tomatoes are ripening

cukes growing on fence.

Lots to move

I will be back to check on other blogs I have not visited in a while.  I miss seeing what others are up to.   A quick post here this morning and then off.

A chair calling my name and with coffee in hand.  I wish all a Wonderful Sunday!

  1. You have a lovely project planned, for the coming hopefully cooler weeks.

I'm sure you will enjoy it so much, when it is completed.

  2. Dearest Betsy,
Yes, at times we have to make drastic decisions and they always kind of hurt. We love things one way but need to move on for a better situation.
    Lovely flowers!
    Enjoy your coffee.
    Hugs,

    1. Hello Mariette,
Yes it's more of a drainage problem now and you are right, a better situation it will be when finished.

    2. Dearest Betsy,
Noticed that your post is loading very, very slow! Can't reply until all the things on the sidebar have fully loaded.
When I removed LinkWithin from my blog, it did load suddenly at lightning speed. So there must be something on yours that causes this problem...

    3. Hello Mariette, I have noticed this too. We are trying to figure out what the problem is with this taking so long to load. Another thing now is I noticed my comments are being sent to my spam folder. I will try getting rid of some of the extras as you say with the link within and see what happens. Thank you, Betsy

  3. Sounds like great plans ahead at your home, Betsy. I hope you will share them with us. Your flowers are lovely and look so healthy. The tomatoes are almost ready--yum, my favorite. I'm so thankful for our recent rains. With this heat and humidity, early morning is about the only time to enjoy your coffee on your patio.

  6. Betsy,
Love the idea of a patio and I think you will really enjoy it once it is finished...Your blooms are so pretty...I have grown weary of trying to keep ll my flowers alive with the horrific heat that we have experienced here this Summer...July was our hottest on Record!! And now they are calling for yet another heat wave next week!! I am ready to move on from Summer and go into Fall.....Thanks so much for taking the time to visit!!
    Hugs,
    Deb
