Happy Thursday

I think Spring is making it's way here and no such luck for snow now I don't guess.
I was cleaning up a few areas that need it badly in the yard and saw a few volunteer plants like this
red leaf lettuce.

Chives coming up

Looks like this lilac I pulled from the larger one in the yard made it.

Hydrangea really needs to be put in the ground. Second season in this pot.

This is a mini rose I purchased after valentines day on sale at Walmart last year.  I put it in this pot in the ground.  The bottom I removed from the pot so it would grow well and keep critters from it til it took off.  Looking good so far.

A daffodil I picked from the yard.  Its in a vase in my window downstairs

Close up of dew drop, the only flower so far.

My daughter gave me this to try and I am waiting for the planting medium to absorb with water so I can put the flower seeds in.

These box are in much need of clipping now.

Forced Forsythia on porch

That's about it for today
back outside to do more clearing.

It's nice to see signs of Spring. You are more advanced that us here in Eastern Quebec. The snow is melting and the sun shining longer each day.
Your daffodil is very pretty.

Spring is getting close. I bet the volunteer lettuce will taste good. The flowers are pretty and are growing really good. I will come down sometime and we will plant some vegetables.

Dearest Betsy,
You are so lucky for being able to get outdoors.
It indeed looks like spring is steadily approaching in your area.
We have had again flooding of the river and also flash floods and we of course have been running our wet vacs downstairs again.
Hope not tonight, the rain has stopped around 18:00 but there still is so much over saturation...
Hugs,
Mariette

My heavens Mariette, this is terrible. I certainly pray that this is the end of rain for you.
We had rain this year but nothing like you are having.

Loved the walk around your yard, spring is springing up all around. And, that daffodil... that photo, I think, is one of the prettiest I've ever seen. Great job.

Thank you Latane. I just think daffodils are some of the prettiest flowers.

Betsy,
You do have a lot of buds and blooms poking through!! It is 28 degrees here his morning...Supposed to be 60 tomorrow!! Crazy!! I would like one big snow storm before Winter is over....We had 5 inches of snow the first week of April last year so there is still hope... Thanks so much for stopping by and for taking the time to comment!!
Hugs,
Debbie

It's beginning to look a lot like Springtime, Betsy. We finally are having a bit of winter weather, but only rain, no snow. Our gardens will be bright and pretty before we know it, but it is hard to imagine right not..Happy Weekend..xxoJudy
