Enjoying the outdoors

Enjoying this pre autumn weather.  It feels as though it's right around the corner, the way the shadows fall and the weather is a little cooler today.

First moonflower to bloom.  They have taken forever to bloom this year.
It's up the side of house and I took it in the rain, so a little blurry

Little tea rose

Both are pretty in Steve's office window.

Henry Clay Inn in Ashland Va. looking all patriotic and I love the way it's decorated.

Rear entrance at Suzanne's restaurant.  Very pretty.

Betsy, I have always wanted to grow moon flowers but never have. They look so much like my big blue morning glory that I can almost imagine them white. Love the old homes dressed in their patriotic colors..Happy Monday, my friend..xxoJudy

Betsy your header is wonderful of the dragon fly! A perfect shot! I didn't grow a moon flower this year--your's is lovely as are the roses. I haven't been to the Henry Clay Inn in years or to Suzanne's --both of them hold happy memories for me. My Mama's sisters and I and my daughter used to meet there for lunch. Ashland is such a lovely town. You are lucky to have such beauty nearby. ♥

Your roses are beautiful. Such a deep red. I'm still waiting for buds on my moonflower. This is the first year I've grown one so I'm excited for it to bloom. Yours is lovely.

Thank you Cynthia. Mine have taken so long to bloom. Never have they taken this long. They are worth the wait I must say.

Dearest Betsy,
We used to have lots of moonflowers about ten years ago. They were huge here in Georgia!
You show us some beautiful photos, love the two roses in the office window.
And of course the patriotic decoration at the Inn.
Hugs and happy weekend.

I love the header with that dragonfly. When I was a little girl someone told me they were fairies so I believed that for a long time. I had never seen a moonflower till you presented it here. Share more of it if you please, I love the gentle white petals. Thanks for sharing Betsy!
