Little by Little

It's looks like Spring.   I hope they bloom out before the next freeze.  I just feel it's gonna happen.

So much work to be done outside like more dirt and mulching.

I cut these back so much last year

A few that I trimmed I stuck in the soil in this pot.  They rooted and bloomed.

Spring is all around us.

Brunch

It's dreary and drizzly at 8:00 here in the morning and way before.  Good soup day and I started mine with homemade vegetable and beef leftover from an eye round roast I had a day ago.
Tired of the usual, so soup for me.

Dreary,

but I find days like this so relaxing.

Fresh veggies- squash canned with tomatoes in basil from my daughters garden.  Peas, carrots, corn, canned tomatoes, noodles, lean beef, potatoes and some garlic.
Now I think just a tad sprinkle of Parmesan with my huge glass of water I have every morning.  Gotta drink more water.

Wordless Wednesday

A foggy ride home one evening from the beach.  Love evenings like this.  When I am not the one driving of course, makes me sleepy.

Anniversary

Today is Steve and my Anniversary.   I was so excited to see that he got something I have been wanting for sometime.  I love this and so does Genevieve.
Trying it out will be fun.
Will have to take it in the woods and see what we can dig up.   I see people with metal detectors on the beach.  I will use it there too.

I opened the scoop first and was surprised that it had so many holes and was a little dumb to what it was until the package was opened.
This one goes down 12 inches and that is a good depth for me to dig.  Now to assemble it.  Steve will assemble it, I should say.

Done...Now to see how it works with different metals and make sure
I have the settings according to the metals I want to attract.

A little clip of Genevieve talking about it.  Forgive my messy den,  it's where the kids play and make their messes along with us.   I am o.k. with that too.   It's where we live.
