The paint color is what I call an icy blue. I wanted to do something a little different with the ceiling and don't think I want to do it again.
Now to finish cleaning the floor and attaching a valance and some sort of shade or curtain
Oh yes, have the beds put back because they are spending the night with us tonight.

Betsy, your clouds are really nice in the grands room. Overhead work is so hard. I imagine you are tired of looking up. I bet the girls are going to love seeing the clouds tonight. ♥
Oh How neat... Now ---just add some birds and maybe even an airplane... The kids would love it..... ha ha
You are more ambitious than I am.... I am not creative like that --and never have been... We painted the walls in this house when we first moved in.... I told George that that was the LAST time I would ever do that..... ha
Hope you got the beds all put together since the kids were coming to spend the night.... I would love to see their faces when they see the ceiling...

WOW, Betsy. That is absolutely gorgeous. I mean it!! It looks so realistic and soothing. The girls will just love it. I have tried that idea when Jake was little in the sunporch that we fixed up for his little room, but it certainly didn't look that good. One thing I did do for him that he loved was little stars here and there that glow after you turn the lights off. I can't remember where I got them, it was so long ago, but if interested you could google. It is the same sunporch that I now use for my storage/junk room and the stars still work after 20 years..Have a wonderful weekend..xxoJudy

Well, not only does it look heavenly, it might serve two purposes as they say blue is a calming color.
That's what you want to achieve for putting your grandchildren to rest!

Thank you. I must say when I put them to bed on Tuesday night, they both fell asleep fairly soon and without having to be reminded to go to sleep for the night. I think they liked it too.
