Barns in Big Rock

Barns around the bend from where my daughter lived  in Big Rock Tennessee.  I loved the area and she did too.    No shortage of barns around there.
these two less than a mile from her

not much left of it

looks like doors

another on the road

all pretty well over taken by vines, but were still used because we took a peek inside.

I am sharing with Barn Charm
lots of barns to be enjoyed here.

Love these old barns you've found, especially the red one with the yellow flowers. Are they forsythia?

A fine series of old barns in various states of disrepair.
I like those that seem to have disappeared within the brush growing up around them.

All those barns, probably strong working buildings in their day. Still standing against the ravages of time, but that's a fight they'll eventually lose. Sad really.

That tall barn, there are a couple like that around here, set in against the surrounding hillsides.

Thanks for sharing. :-)
