It's started

The patio finally will be done.  The gentlemen were here early and excavating the dirt which we had taken to the far back yard to spread.  Our yard is sloped so it will help with some of the erosion there.

Both pictures taken from bedroom window

The block for the walls called Jefferson is made in USA and that is what I look for ALWAYS.

I like the variation of color in the stone

Gravel to be put down as we decided on stamped concrete.

Well out to see how the rest is coming along now as the wall will be going up.

We decided on the front walkway also.  Hate to lose some of the slate but will keep a lot of it.

This all should be done by Wednesday.

Dearest Betsy,
Hoping the weather will be cooperating with your big tasks to be carried out!
It always creates a mess first, before we see the improvement come into play as we desire it to be.
Good luck!
Hugs,
Mariette

Oh how exciting, Betsy! I really look forward to seeing the progress if you choose to share it with us. Looks like a big job and they'll be finished so soon. You are going to have a great spot to put all of your lovely flowers this spring.

Happy Tuesday,
Looks like the weather will be hitting close to 50 degrees this week. Good for cement to be poured. Yes, it does look pretty messy here at the moment. It's supposed to address drainage issues and that is important here on a slope.
Hugs to you, Betsy
