German's Chocolate is the best

My sister made this beautiful German's chocolate cake.  I have eaten it with other chocolate but German's chocolate is the best for this cake.  It's what makes it authentic I think.

good butter and pecans.  All made from scratch.  Three high layers.

Shared with family.

Now to finish decorating

Betsy, OMG is that a beautiful cake and, I bet, so good. I did do a little something on the guest room mantle so far but even though I am so glad the kids are coming up, I can't wait to get started on Christmas..Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Have a wonderful time..xxoJudy

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Mariette.
I believe I ate about maybe a half a slice of this. It's way to rich for me to eat much.
