Stepped outside to catch a rainbow. So pretty. A tornado touched down near Richmond today and we are under a watch til 10:00 pm, last I heard anyway.
not sure what this halo is across from the rainbow. I know it's not lens glare because I saw it before I held the camera up to capture it.

My machine must be slow tonight Betsy but I will come back later. We are under a tornado watch until ten also. I watched one on the news earlier. It looked very scary ripping a roof off a big building.
That is a beautiful header shot.
Oh Betsy, please stay safe. We had a tornado warning near our home this afternoon. Our grands in Richmond just got home from school a half hour ago. The news is so scary watching the tornado take the roofs off of buildings. Take care. ♥
hope everything is fine.. stay safe..
Thank you Krishna

Don't worry, Betsy, I double checked to see that this was a new post! Pretty rainbow but hope nothing comes of the tornado. Do you have them often? Hope not..xxoJudy

Dearest Betsy,
You chased a lovely rainbow with your camera and captured it well.
Hope all is well on your end and hope it is a calm autumn.
Hugs,
Mariette
Hi,
In response to you question about hanging paintings over mirrors. The painting is held up by brass chains attached to brass picture rail hooks which fit over the railing around the ceiling. You can buy the hooks at The House of Antique Hardware. Hope this helps.
Your pictures are lovely and so atmospheric I almost felt like I was there.
