Happy Birthday yesterday- to me

Yesterday was my b'day.
Birthdays I am starting not to like so much, because it just re- inforces the fact that I am getting much older.
I am not complaining.  I am glad to have been able to get up this morning and get on with my daily chores and whatever else came my way.   I am very thankful for each day.

I rec'd  a beautiful fall flower basket  from my daughter Annette, son in law John and grandson -Seth.

Derek - my son, called and was glad to get card and hear from him.
Heard from my mom,  she is gonna be 88 next month and always remembers her childrens b'days.  She has always sent the prettiest, thoughtful cards.

I got a  lovely bouquet of roses and dinner from my husband.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My sister - Donna gave me a nice candle holder with candles and a beautiful handmade ornament.  I just love the ornament.  She makes a lot of neat things that are not just pretty but useful and fun to have.

Pretty necklace of colored glass beads and a nice candle holder with candles that smell like vanilla cookies.

My mom in law gave me long sleeve sweater, it will come in very handy now since the weather has become very cool.  I love the color red.

I just want them all to know if they are reading this, that I appreciate them remembering me very much.
I thank them for my special gifts.
