Some Easter images

Rainy day off and on but children had fun and so did we.

I made these hot cross buns from King Arthur site and the recipe is the best I have ever tried.
I made sure as it said to have eggs at room temp. along with my other ingredients and use instant yeast.

Miranda was up early.  She also had carrot slices with honey and ginger,  dressing ,  and spiced corn.
Soooo good!

I had to use my cell phone as I have misplaced my camera again.  I guess I will have to chain it around my neck to keep up with it.   Frustrating,  but happy that the cell phone takes pictures.

ride'm cowboy

My daughter and her husband decided it was time to say good bye to a couple of farm animals. The are going to very good  homes. She and her husband are focusing now on just the chickens and her vegetable she raises for sale.
Before going off to good homes,  Seth our grandson had to get one last ride.

Red is his name and he's a stud who loves attention.   He will lie on his back to get a belly rub and loves to play with burlap bags filled with hay.  He doesn't mind giving a ride either.
 The Jerusalem donkey is thinking he is next.

Notice the donkey is still watching , he knows he is getting his picture taken.

Spring

Look what made a home in a very pretty wreath that is filled with bright and sunny flowers on first day of spring.  It is on Miranda and Dereks front door.

The birds used some of the natural elements from the wreath to fashion the nest along with some filling of sorts.    Made all cushiony for the little ones.
