Wednesday

A day off from rain,  but not to worry as there is more coming again tomorrow.   It has rained off and on for the past few days.   I venture out  to sweep the dirt and green stuff that is growing between the bricks on the porch.  Yucky stuff.

Behind the yellow door to  the outside.

perked up my wreath a little

Someone somewhere must have something to harvest, not I.   If the moles didn't destroy it,  the rain sure did.

Mums in the pot look very healthy

That  little bird peeking out behind the planter seems to follow me everywhere.

Color starting to show here.

This area will be filled with leaves and acorns before long.  I may cover with plastic to make the raking  easier.

Quote taken from BrainyQuote.com

Look at the bark of a redwood,  and you see moss.
If you peer beneathe the bits and pieces of the moss, you'll see toads, small insects, a whole host of life that prospers in that miniature environment.  A lumberman will look at a forest and see many board of lumber. I see a living city.
Sylivia Earle

I really do not like this city in my yard.
