Lewis Ginter garden

A few weeks ago on an outing with the grandchildren to Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens in Va.
A good place for a walk and have lunch.    Ever changing landscape of plants and art in the gardens.
These pictures were take about two weeks ago as the tulips are bloomed out so pretty

Addy is checking out the water feature here

Double late Tulip

She is checking to see if there is a scent  from the tulips ,  and there isn't

Framing the gardens -  Several of these placed throughout the garden.

Children s play area,   big kids always first.

Its called "The garden keepers cottage".

Inside is bright and colorful play area

Made with plastic spoons and button center,  neat decoration

Very large sandbox with play things.

Water feature

I know she wished she could just hop in that water

She spies something for sure

I am sharing with  a delightsomelife

  1. Hi Betsy,
That first photo is just breathtaking! It should be a picture postcard! Those tulips are gorgeous! The girls look like they were enjoying their day, and what a sweet little play area.
    Have a great week,
    Gina
