Happy Saturday

Never thought I would say that it's nice to wake up to some drizzle and an overcast morning.   A nice break from the heat and the intense sun's rays.
I am  posting  some pictures of whats left of the flowers in the bed by the fence.

Zinnias are there no matter how hot or dry.

these petunias come up every year - I didn't plant them, must be seeds I stir up in the dirt left by previous owners planting - the scent is stronger than most
I purchased this strawberry pot from " The Christmas Tree Shop" marked down from $9.99 to $4.99
believe it or not,  the plant had about 15 strawberries on it, looks pretty sick now.

I have a variety of flowers.       I like bold colors and variety
Roses that Steve brought me last week - lovely
I like the look of the red and white table cloth with them.

til next time - betsy

Hello Betsy...
I smiled when I read that you were happy to wake up to drizzle on Saturday... just the opposite for me, I was happy to wake up to blue skies and warm sunshine. Whilst US has sizzled, we have shivered in day after day of rain.
Let us hope we can enjoy the remainder of summer in our own special way.
Blessings. Marion - Wales UK.
