Barn in Caroline County

Caroline County Virginia is where I found this barn.  Nice weathered greenish blue color and red painted tin roof,   like this one.

I don't recall the area in Va. this barn is located,  I just know it is in Va. and a beautiful shade of red.

Love the hay bales with the clean look of the barn and surrounding area.

A few years back a visit to Tangier Island took us past this old barn , I took the picture from the boat on the way to island.

As Steve and I were traveling between Clarkesville Va. and South Boston Va.  there were lots of barns and here are a couple.

I know this won't be around long by the way the peeling paint looks.

I think the row of these are my favorite and probably somewhere off of route 58 in Va.

Barn in Highland County Va.

Highland county located in the Allegheny mountains.    Headwaters of the James and Potomac rivers are located here along with lots of beautiful barns.   I got quite a few and here is one of them.

I took these from the car,  it was raining on the way up and some spots from rain showing on window.

A few years back I visited the town of Chase City in Mecklinburg County Va.,  where my mom was born.

We always take a trip to Quicksburg Va. to buy apples from  Paugh's orchard.  Between our visit to New Market  and Quicksburg in October 2012 - I took a picture of one of the many barns along the way.
