Warmer today. I see the leaf buds on some of the trees. Still winter and anything can change.
A few roses for Valentines Day
I must say I am a little tired of the sofa I have had since 2000.
I would like something else besides red. Maybe more of a modern streamlined sofa with a couple of swivel chairs at the picture window. I can always dress up or down with a more modern style.
A dinner sent to us from Daughter in law Miranda
So very good and such a sweet surprise. Especially since we are not getting out much. I have not been cleared to drive yet since surgery, and I am ready to bust out.

I had chicken parmesan and Steve had Lasagna. Didn't get a picture of his because he dug in way too fast.
To finish off we had lemon shortbread cookies.
I have been working on my beaded ship picture. Not liking this one too much. Still have to finish it though.
I am looking for a place to fix this Santa. The battery compartment is corroded from being negligent in taking the batteries out for storage. I wonder if it can be fixed to play music and move again? Just had to put it out there.

I hope your recovery is going well. What a nice Valentine's Day gift. Your salad looks scrumptious! We were just talking about an Italian restaurant in our town years ago. The salads were so loaded with antipasto ingredients that we would add our own head of lettuce and enjoy it for several meals. And the chicken parm, too! - yummy!

ReplyDeleteSuch pretty roses! So we've had a few battery oopsies too and sometimes you can clean it out and it will work again. I would google the best way and give it a shot!
